The Pleasance (Edinburgh) is working with partner theatres across the UK to identify and support exceptional artists and companies local to them who want to take work to the Fringe. Each partner is a leading national producing house, with a commitment to supporting and developing new artists.
In 2021, Pitlochry Festival Theatre was delighted to be one of the partner organisations for the first time, alongside York Theatre Royal, Bristol Old Vic, HOME Manchester, Theatre Royal Plymouth, Eden Court Inverness and Leicester Curve.
Following an open call out, we supported Lila Clements with her production ‘Look, No Hands‘, an exciting new piece about childhood memory, grief, trauma and positive growth.
This is Lila’s first full length solo show exploring how trauma changes us.
Cyclist Vee has no idea why she’s woken up in hospital. Armed with only her medical notes and a surprise appearance on 24 Hours in A&E, she tries to piece together exactly what has happened to her.
But the mystery she can’t solve is why something so awful… has made her feel so fantastic!
