The Games are held annually and are entirely run by volunteers to raise funds for local clubs and associations.

They include all the traditional heavy competitions plus a famous hill race which can be watched in its entirety by all spectators from the field. Pipe bands attend and there are displays of Highland dancing by local children.

There are also sports and athletic competitions open to all including a series of children’s sports competitions, such as egg and spoon race, sack race and so on. Traditional tug of war at the end of the day

Food and drink will be on sale and a good time is had by both visitors and locals.
