The Law was used as an Iron Age hillfort and prehistoric graves dating to about 1500 BC have been uncovered on its slopes. Roman pottery dating from the 1st century AD has also been discovered. Today there are pleasant woodland walks around the Law with lots of benches and information explaining the views and history. For a challenge, try the signed walking trail “Town to Top” from Dundee City Square to the summit.
