Blair Drummond Safari Park Christmas Spectacular

There’s lots going on at the Safari Park both before and after dark!

Most of the festivities go on all day, but if you want to see their animals (including their gorgeous rhino calf Morag!) be sure to get a daytime ticket.

Monday to Friday (to 20th Dec) tickets are at a special reduced price for opening hours of 10am-3.30pm. Just £7 for children, students and those aged 60+ / £12 for adults.

On Saturdays, Sundays and 21st-23rd Dec they are open until 7pm for an extended day of animals & festivities! They have some evening only tickets at a reduced price. See below for full ticket price details and timings. Day time ticket holders are also welcome to stay until the park closes at 7pm.

Their Christmas Spectacular is bigger and better than ever. So dig out those festive jumpers, don your reindeer ears, and let’s get into the Christmas spirit!

Storytelling magic with Mrs Claus

Get into the festive spirit with a classic Christmas tale. Join them for an enchanting storytelling session with the one and only Mrs Claus.

Santa’s drive-by

Santa Claus is coming to town. Catch a glimpse of the main man himself as he travels through the Safari Park in his sleigh several times a day.  He’ll have his naughty list with him so make sure you’re on your best behaviour!

Festive fairground

Their festive fairground attractions will bring a rosy glow to everyone’s cheeks. Ride tokens are for sale in the Park. Have a go on ther traditional train ride, teacups and dodgems, then have a run around in their wacky fun house. Christmas magic.

Scotland’s biggest Christmas tree (probably)

They love a fairy light here at the Park and this year they’re more twinkle-tastic than ever. They are back with their show-stopping Christmas tree that (we think) is the largest in Scotland.

Animal bedtimes

All their animals will be there to share the magic with you throughout the day. However, they’ll be safely tucked up for the night well before it gets dark. Last entry to the drive-thru is 2:45pm and you won’t be able to visit many of their other animal habitats once the sun goes down.

Dinosaur Illuminations

Back by popular demand, their ROARsome dinosaur illuminations! Wander through their prehistoric forest and enjoy their spectacular floodlit dinosaur display. The illuminations will begin at 2:30pm everyday.

Christmas Market

If you’re looking to do a little Christmas shopping, then our traditional Christmas stalls are the place for you!  Their adorable log huts are stuffed to the rafters with all sorts of festive treats and gorgeous gifts. This year, they’ve also been joined by Lush and Stirling Distillery.

Festive food and drinks

We’ve got all sorts of winter-warmers and festive favourites. Try the amazing hot chocolate from their hot chocolate bar, treat yourself to piping hot fish and chips, or dig in to a loaded baked potato. And don’t worry, for the grown-ups, there’s gin cocktails from local Stirling Gin. Yum.

Marshmallow fire pits

Get cosy around their fire-pits and toast some giant marshmallows. How do you like yours, lightly toasted or full-on burnt? Let the great marshmallow debate commence!

Ticket Info

Please choose a date and time that suits you as they’re unable to make changes or refunds once a ticket has been purchased. Their Christmas Spectacular event runs from 25th November to 23rd December.
